Fundraising

Popcorn Sales

Selling popcorn is a win-win situation.  For Scouts, it teaches them valuable life lessons in goal setting, salesmanship, and self confidence.  For parents, it has the potential to fund an entire year of Scouting adventures!  In fact, 70% of all popcorn sales goes back to local scouting and of that, 30% goes directly back to our Pack.  This is our Pack's major fundraiser and supports most of the programs that we do such as trips, handbooks, belt loops, pins and badges.   It also provides the Dens with materials needed to conduct meetings.

In 2011 we want to thank all of our scouts that participated in the Popcorn Drive.
Together, over $6,000.00 in popcorn was sold and Pack 11 gets to keep 30% of that!
Well done boys!

Other Fundraisers

While the Popcorn drive is our biggest fundraiser, Pack 11 may be involved in other fundraisers throughout the year.  For instance, if the Pack chooses to take on a community service project that would require us to purchase additional materials and/or supplies, we may ask each Den to come up with a plan to raise money for that event.  Or, even though we try to keep expenses at a minumum, if our operating expenses surpass our revenue intake, another fundraisers may be necessary to keep the Pack operating.
